The Almaguin Highlands are seeing their very first early signs of spring, with frigid winter temperatures finally loosening their grip. That means the long-standing tradition of maple sugaring is returning to the region, guided by the skilled hands of professionals and local hobbyists alike.
Closely following the first tapping of sugar maples comes an array of maple-themed events, spreading sweetness across Almaguin. Check out our list of upcoming events across the region:

Almaguin Maple Syrup Festival — April 4
Presented by Hubbert's Maple Syrup
Spend the day enjoying classic maple season traditions hosted by the Sundridge Lions Club.
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Pancake breakfast: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
