"NAISA is the acronym for New Adventures in Sound Art. Undertaking new adventures in sound and media art has been a focus for the organization since its founding in 2001. Throughout NAISA’s history it has challenged artists and audiences alike with alternative ways of listening and presenting sound. NAISA purchased a building in November 2021 that will be the new permanent home for the organization in South River, an unprecedented step in the growth of sound art in Canada.
