Program Guidelines
The Almaguin Vendor Event Marketing Pilot Program (AVEMP) is an initiative developed by the Almaguin Community Economic Development Department which will provide support to community organizations who are marketing vendor-driven events and markets. The AVEMP will support organizations seeking to promote their vendor events through trackable marketing tactics. The AVEMP Program is available to community support organizations operating within ACED member municipalities as identified in these guidelines.
Eligible Activities
Eligible activities include:
Geotargeted ad campaigns.
Digital ad campaigns with news media marketing services.
Physical marketing activities where it is possible to track the effectiveness of the advertising activity (IE: distribution amounts, geographic areas targeted, etc.).
Other activities as deemed eligible by the program administrator.
Ineligible Projects include:
Non-event related advertising.
Non-advertising related expenses.
Design fees related to ad creation.
Marketing activities that can not be tracked or assessed.
Funding
Up to $250 per organization at 90% cost share.
The total funding for the Almaguin Digital Advancement Program is $2000.00 and will be made available to eligible applicants on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications are limited to one per eligible community organization. Support will also be provided by ACED Staff to assist with social media marketing efforts on a case-by-case basis.
Organization Eligibility
Eligible businesses must:
Be an incorporated not-for-profit located in an ACED member municipality.
Be the event organizer of the function seeking promotional assistance.
Commit to completing the post-event reporting process.
